Research focus

Thermoelectric materials

Eutectic and multiphase alloys, half-Heusler compounds and high-entropy alloys, studied through the link between solidification microstructure and transport properties.

Energy and electrochemical materials

Electrocatalysts for hydrogen and oxygen evolution, supercapacitor electrodes and molecularly imprinted sensors, including two-dimensional tellurides.

Sustainable materials

Pigments, adsorbents and biochar composites prepared from industrial and agricultural waste, and the beneficiation of local ores.
