- Appointed Honorary Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences, University of South Africa (Unisa), for three years from 1 September 2026.
- Two new articles: New Journal of Chemistry (phosphazene-based COP/PANI/CNT supercapacitor composites) and Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics (recycling discarded thermoelectric legs into hydrogen evolution catalysts).
- Twelve articles published, including work on directionally solidified Bi2Te3-based eutectics and on double half-Heusler high-entropy alloys. See the publication list.
